Based on the book by Uri Orlev, Grandma Knitting. A story about Grandma, who knitted an entire world out of wool: the house, the garden, the bed, even the tea and the cake, and finally her grandchildren as well. But the world around doesn’t easily accept woolen grandchildren.

A show about the courage to create, the power of imagination, and the passion for books and stories, which brings the generations closer to each other.

The show won the Show of the Year and Puppet Design awards in the 2006 children and youth theater competition.

From the reviews

The amazing grandmother puppet that Revital Arieli designed for this show is a superb example of the latent power that can be drawn out of inanimate material by high-quality puppet theater.
Shai Bar-Yaakov, Yediot Aharonot

This play is an absolute gem … and delivers a message for both children and adults: instead of only doing productive, useful things, make time for the people closest to us and do not be afraid to nurture our own creativity and imagination.
Leah Gilulah, Asimon Magazine
