How many cubes does the princess wear?
Is the clown's nose round or square?
And how would you train a cube dog?
In the cubes circus everything can happen! A couple of clowns / dancers succeed to set in motion a wondrous world of cubes.
The cubes will be spread out, shrinked and divided into different and bizarre animals.
The actors wear cubes and dance with them; they train and cast a spell on them. Sometimes they get eaten (but not for real). They quarrel, make up, fall in love and create a wondrous and joyful world.
An inventive performance without words combining puppetry, plastic art and Dance Theater
The show is inspired by the Bauhaus' dance theater, especially the "Triadic Ballet" of Oscar Schlemmer and the book "Tsafuf" by Galia Levy-Grad.

The cubes circus is a new creation of Galia Levy-Grad and Marit Benisrael, based on a multi-imagery use of various cubes, attached to the bodies of two actors/dancers, who transform them into shapes and creatures. The two young actors manage to perform an accurate and orchestrated show, and the final outcome is a light, clever and inventive show.

The shows is suitable for adults and children alike, I enjoyed the original theme, the inventiveness, the play and the wondrous music. The children were exposed to a world full of imagination and to a unique show they haven't met before.
