Making Spinning Tops with 'The Moving Toys Workshop'

Make cardboard spinning tops, and paint them with our original diy 'circle painter'.

This hands-on workshop is a collaboration between 'The Train Theater' and 'The Moving Toys Workshop'.

'The Moving Toys Workshop' offers hands-on sessions and classes, in which we make mechanical toys and machines out of cardboard and simple materials. In our learning-by-doing sessions we enable intuitive learning of physical phenomena and basic mechanical principles, as well as basic training in problem solving.

Founded in Los Angeles, in 2009, by installation artist Noga Elhassid, The Moving Toys Workshop is held in a variety of programs for youth at risk, and in museums and schools, both in Israel and California.
