Eshetlot/ Pre-PremiereGallery Hanut Theater
The story of Lot’s wife in Sodom—represented geographically, symbolically, mythically, and historically. It is a tale that asks us to peel away the layers of earth from Sodom using Biblical narrative, excerpts from the diaries of potash workers in Sodom from the 1930’s and 1940’s, and the story of a movie theater that was built in a cave in Mount Sodom.
Mrs. Lot stands as a monument to any woman whose heart beats and who ever stood on burning sand and was told, “Don’t look!” but didn’t listen.
