'Asfur' - The Freedom Bird - Premiere | عصفور الحريةThe Train Theater
A bilingual theatrical adaption of a folk tale, this show deals with the relationship between man and his environment, the flora and fauna. Every day, a hunter enters a beautiful green forest filled with tall trees, fruit, flowers, and animals. But the hunter is there to hunt and kill animals, and as he goes, he tramples and destroys everything in his path. One day, a tiny bird decides to teach the hunter a lesson and change his behavior once and for all. Will she succeed?
Using theatrical techniques, and with the aid of visual elements and the children in the audience, the actors play a number of roles and demonstrate the importance of caring for and preserving our environment.
