Ferdinand and Me

Aldor tells a lot of stories and sells a lot of cheap handkerchiefs. He greets the audience on the street corner next to the bullfighting ring, and tells the story of Ferdinand the Bull, who preferred to smell the flowers instead of fight in the ring like all the others. Brandishing handkerchiefs, flowers, and suitcases, Aldor celebrates the magic behind the story and behind life. He introduces the audience to the Spanish culture, and emphasizes the strength and beauty behind free and individual choice. A colorful Spanish celebration put on by a theater of objects and characters that tell the story of Ferdinand the Bull who wanted to smell the flowers in the dew covered grass instead of fighting like all the others.
