We perceive our children as emotionally fragile and ourselves as solely responsible for their emotional wholeness. This is why we become very cautious. This cautiousness has intensified in the age of political correctness, where each creation can be examined through a thousand prisms of sensitivity. Therefore, when we create or choose a creation for our children, we become supreme ethical judges, expert psychologists, and in other words: plot and conflict murderers.
